It’s blogger week for the last time in 2018, and I wanted to encourage you to give yourself and your ministry teams a gift, the gift of vision.

When I attend Orange Conferences, my vision gets challenged. Every time every year, my vision is stretched both for what is happening inside the church and outside the church.  My heart is pushed to consider new ways of doing ministry, for new ways of impacting people with the gospel. Why? Because I gave myself the gift of vision.

Over the past few years, my heart as a leader has changed and vision has grown for taking my team from just showing up to owning the ministry and being consistent and available for those they lead in their small groups. Our teams are seeing greater discipleship and deeper relationships.  Why? Because I gave myself the gift of vision.

Every year, I’ve met leaders who struggle with the same things I’m struggling with and together as we talk, we discover new ideas that we can take home and implement. We can challenge our churches to look outside the four walls and become part of the community where they are.  Why? Because I gave myself the gift of vision.

This year it’s personal,

“some volunteers have a deeper commitment

some parents engage at a more practical level

some ministries make a greater impact

some churches have wider influence

some leaders leave a lasting mark

IT HAPPENS WHEN THEY MAKE IT PERSONAL.

Things changed when Jesus…

called Zacchaeus by name

addressed the Samaritan woman’s past

spent time in Mary and Martha’s home

invited each individual disciple to follow Him

intercepted Saul on the road to Damascus

JESUS MADE A DIFFERENCE, BECAUSE JESUS MADE IT PERSONAL.”

How about joining me at O19? Come give yourself and your team a personal vision to be all Jesus designed us to be.
